Snow Leopard Uncia Uncia - Despite being called a Leopard the Snow Leopard is not closely related to the Leopard and other large cats. Populations are estimated to be as low as 3500 in the wild and despite being classed as endangered is very slowly begining to increase in numbers. The snow Leopard lives in the mountain areas of Central Asia.
