Tiger Panthera Tigris Sumatrae - The Sumatran Tiger has the darkest coat of all Tigers. It has broad black stripes closely spaced and often doubled. It has striped forelegs unlike the larger Siberian Tiger. The Siberian is the largest Tiger sub-species and the Sumatran shown here is the smallest - but males are still 2.4m on average and weigh 120kg.
